In partnership with the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Safety Council is
reaching out to its members and other employers for help in the
current H1N1 flu outbreak. Businesses play a vital role. To
contain the possibility of an outbreak among your employees:

SAFETY SEAT INSPECTION
Safety Seats and Booster Seats Inspected for proper installation.
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that 75%
are installed improperly. Call (330) 747-8657 ext. 13 for Geno

Fit Test to Determine if Booster Seat Fits Your
Child (from Safe Kids USA)
- Place your child on the booster seat and fasten
the lap and shoulder seat belts around the child.
- Use the seat belt guides on the booster seat for
the lap and shoulder belts.
- Check to be sure the lap belt rests on the top
of the thighs or low on the hips.

Check to be sure the shoulder belt is positioned on the bony shoulder-
not the neck or face. Never place the shoulder belt under the arm or
behind the back.
